Starting Salary: $125K to 180K

Duties for Vice President-Legal:

  • Responsibilities:
  • The Vice President – Legal is responsible for the following:
  • Administration, filing and record keeping of industry marketing materials
  • Administration, filing and record keeping of all Contractor Program and individual transaction documents
  • Reviewing, analyzing, preparing document drafts and administering underlying transaction and closing documents for federal government, municipal government and commercial enterprise transactions
  • Reviewing, analyzing and preparing drafts of Contractor Program documentation
  • Supervising documentation filing, auditing and follow-up
  • Participating in the negotiation of required documentation for both individual transactions and Contractor Program Agreements
  • Providing Proposal, closing and post closing support for federal government, municipal government and commercial enterprise transactions
  • Maintaining Records Management

Qualifications:

  • 2-10 years of legal experience
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate in a courteous and professional manner
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Responsible for all legal matters of the Company, including document development, drafting and negotiations, oversight/management of invoicing and collections personnel, litigation and corporate regulatory compliance.

Responsible for records administration of executed Contractor Program Agreements, individual Contractor Program transaction documents; assigned individual (“one-off”) transaction documents; and document development for new Contractor Programs and individual transaction documents.

Responsible for being actively involved in senior staff activities regarding corporate strategic planning, financial product design, syndication structuring and negotiations, and training and development of sales staff and other employees with respect to corporate and regulatory matters.
