Job Summary:

The sales role is onsite at the HQ - 5 days per week.

A successful candidate is results-driven and possesses strong communication skills for direct outreach to business owners, buyers, decision-makers, distributors, directors, and more. This individual will play a crucial role in identifying, targeting, promoting, and managing both current and potential customers through various sales and marketing channels, including cold calling, lead generation, and following up on referrals. They will be integral to our sales growth, proactively acquiring new business opportunities.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Prospect new business through various channels, such as cold calling, tradeshows, networking events, and online platforms/research tools.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with existing customers to drive organic sales growth whenever possible.
  • Provide product information, promotional materials, and other sales resources when presenting and selling to prospective customers.
  • Input sales orders into our ERP (Microsoft Dynamics GP) and track customer order pipeline from time of order to product delivery. 
  • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with inquiries or resolving issues or concerns.
  • Coordinate sales efforts with team members in other locations (internationally) to ensure customer manufacturing timelines are properly aligned to achieve on-time delivery goals.
  • Develop sales reports to track and record sales progress and performance metrics.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and competitors' products and pricing to effectively position our offerings in the market.
  • Occasional travel (~10%)
  • Other duties, as required.

 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, economics, communication, or a related field, OR Associate degree with at least 4 years of sales experience
  • 2 years of direct sales experience selling products directly to company owners, buyers, distributors, etc. 
  • Inside sales experience - cold calling and account management
  • Results-oriented, persistent, and sale-driven
  • Effective verbal and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and follow-up skills
  • Proficient with computers and MS Suite
    • Familiarity with MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
    • Proficiency in technical and operating systems is a plus.
