ENTRY LEVEL

Location: Jamaica, NY

Hours: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift available.

Pay: $19/hr

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation, assembly, and packaging of airline meals according to established recipes and portion sizes.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations at all times, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and work areas.
  • Collaborate with team members to coordinate meal production and distribution, prioritizing efficiency and accuracy.
  • Handle and store food products appropriately, following proper handling and storage procedures to maintain quality and freshness.
  • Support inventory management efforts by monitoring stock levels, rotating inventory, and replenishing supplies as needed.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, demonstrating a commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Some previous experience in airline catering, food service, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends
