Teaford’s Pizza & Subs is looking for a shop manager. Full or Part Time.

 

Applicant must meet the following requirements for consideration:

-Must be 18 years of age or older as we sell carryout alcohol, and tobacco.

-Prior management experience of a minimum of two years in mid to high volume pizza operations. Or equivalent experience in other food industry settings.

-Must have reliable transportation.

-Must be able to work on their feet for multiple hours at a time.

-Must have strong communication skills via in person, and over the phone.

-Must meet the following schedule requirements:

          -Available to work mornings or evenings.

          -Available to come in before or after normal operating hours to complete special orders when given reasonable notice.

          -Able to work a split shift as needed (not common).

          -Available to work every weekend.

-Must have excellent cash handling skills.

-General knowledge of or ability to operate a modern Point-of-Sale System.

-Must be reliable and be on time when scheduled.

-Ability to work unsupervised, and alone during non-peak business hours.

-Ability to listen, learn, and work well with others.

 

If applicant can meet all the previous requirements, they will then be required to do the following training before assuming the full responsibilities of manager:

-Applicant will first be trained in all aspects of our kitchen operation. All these skills must be mastered to the point that they can be done efficiently, correctly, and unsupervised. To include but not be limited to:

          -Pizza crust making.

          -Pizza and sub assembly.

          -Pizza and sub completion.

          -Deep fryer operation.

          -Kitchen stock, and prep work.

          -Kitchen cleaning, and sanitation.

-Applicant will be simultaneously trained in front of the house operations such as:

          -Operation of Point-of-Sale System.

          -Inputting online orders, walk-in and phone orders.

          -Cashing out customers.

-Applicant will be trained in how to stock the carryout.

-Applicant will be trained in opening and closing procedures for the entire facility.
