Primary Job duties:
• Verify patient information by interviewing patients; recording medical history; and confirming reason for this visit.
• Prepare patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests; taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature; reporting patient history summary.
• Administer injections to include immunizations.
• Review patient schedules in advance to identify patients with chronic conditions requiring special attention and review charts for preventive protocols.
• Complete services and functions related to patient care coordination including medical records requests, referrals and data collection.
• Maintain documentation and communication with the internal team, external customers and patients, answer questions on the phone or through the patient portal; and participate in monitoring the clinical inbox.
• Secure patient information and maintain patient confidentiality by completing and safeguarding medical records.
• Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be certified (CMA) or registered (RMA) Medical Assistant
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience working in a medical office and administering vaccinations
• Familiarity with the Georgia Immunization Registry (GRITS)
• Athena Health is a huge plus.

Salary:
• $19 - $2 per hour based on years’ experience
