Shipping & Receiving Department Opening

We are looking for a person to fill an open position within our company to start immediately. This position will lead to full-time employment with increased pay and good benefits after the probationary period.

Starting at $17.00 / hour, Mon.- Fri., 8:00am-5:00pm, with 1 hour lunch for a total of 40 hours per week.

Duties: Receiving goods in, maintaining accurate inventory counts and correct locations.

Pulling and recording items accurately from our inventory shelves.

Packing and shipping to customers daily by using a UPS and Fedex ship manager that prints the shipping labels to attach to the office paperwork and to the boxes shipping outbound. Lifting 70-75 lb.

Besides UPS and FedEX, we use other methods of shipping to the USA and Canada like via Trucklines using BOL's and customer pick-up.

Participate with quarterly inventory count.

Daily 5S/6S activities for keeping the shipping area clean and organized.  Help all staff with Friday cleanings in other areas.

Forklift and Cherry picker experience is helpful but not required. We will train the right person.

Also.... this person will have the opportunity to learn the grinding side of our warehouse to help when others are on vacation-or out ill.
