Morgan Hill Law Firm specializing in Insurance Defense, Construction Defect and Personal Injury seeking Associate Attorney with 1-2 years of experience to assist managing attorney with pre-litigation claims and litigation cases.  Job duties to include at least the following: client communication, case status reporting, document review, legal research and writing, investigation, drafting correspondence and pleadings, attending court hearings, conducting discovery, attending mediations, and preparing for and assisting in trial. Must be proficient with Microsoft Word and legal research.

We are seeking candidates who want to litigate and are motivated to learn  We are willing to provide mentorship and the candidate will receive substantial litigation experience through this great training and learning opportunity.

Qualifications:

•      J.D. from an accredited law school

•      Admitted to practice in the State of California, and in good standing with California State Bar

•      Strong research, organizational, and time management skills

•      Excellent written and oral communication skills

•      Ability to work in a team environment

•      Ability to travel to and from the various locations where his or her job tasks take place

•      Construction Defect Litigation a plus - candidates with experience in the direct field are preferred however, the Firm is willing to mentor the right candidate with minimum one-year direct experience
