Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Low Voltage Electrical Technician with expertise in security systems and networking. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting various low voltage electrical systems, with a primary focus on security systems and networking infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain low voltage electrical systems, including security systems, access control systems, CCTV systems, and networking equipment.
- Conduct on-site assessments to determine system requirements and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Perform wiring and cabling tasks for the installation of security and networking components.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to low voltage electrical systems, security devices, and networking infrastructure.
- Collaborate with team members to design and implement efficient and effective security and networking solutions.
- Test and evaluate systems to ensure proper functionality and optimal performance.
- Provide training and technical support to end-users on security system operation and basic network troubleshooting.
- Maintain accurate documentation of system installations, upgrades, and repairs.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in security systems, networking technologies, and industry best practices.

Requirements:
- Proven experience in low voltage electrical work, specifically in the installation and maintenance of security systems and networking infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of security system components, including access control devices, surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and intrusion detection systems.
- Proficiency in networking principles, protocols, and equipment, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and IP addressing.
- Familiarity with structured cabling standards, including Ethernet, fiber optics, and coaxial cables.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and networking schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve system issues.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with clients and provide clear instructions to end-users.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various job sites as required.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in low voltage electrical work, security systems, or networking (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CCNA, BICSI).
- Previous experience in commercial or industrial environments.
- Knowledge of fire alarm systems and integration with security systems.
