We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic team player to join our veterinary family

• Previous experience as a veterinary receptionist experience required.

• Flexibility to work within our hours of operation (M-F: 7:30-8 S: 7:30-3) and available for rotational Saturday shifts.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with appointment scheduling, client communication, and use of multiline phones.
• Basic knowledge of parasite prevention and vaccination protocols.

• Desire to be an integral part of our growing 3+ doctor medical team.

• Situational awareness, self-awareness, and an awareness of others’ needs and concerns.
• Service orientation and striving to improve and meet standards of excellence.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Create positive impressions as the front-line of the practice.
• Answer phones, field client questions, and schedule appointments.

• Respond to emails, faxes, and other communications across multiple platforms.
• Ensure patient reports and client communications are addressed with the veterinarian in a timely manner.
• Collect payment for items dispensed and services rendered.
• Maintain organization of the office space.
• Handle prescription refill requests and medication pick-ups.
• Cross-training and occasional assistant work may be available for the right candidate.
