Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and compassionate individual to join our team as a Receptionist/Office Manager. This hybrid role involves both managing the day-to-day administrative tasks of the clinic and coordinating therapy services. The ideal candidate will be comfortable interacting with families, managing office duties, and working closely with therapists to ensure the smooth delivery of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer phones and respond to inquiries professionally and courteously.
- Greet children and families, ensuring a welcoming and supportive atmosphere.
- Verify insurance benefits and communicate coverage details to families.
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic calendar efficiently.
- Send intake forms and other necessary documentation to clients.
- Take payments through the EMR system, SimplePractice.
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with clinic policies.
- Assist with general office duties, including filing, data entry, and office supply management.
Qualifications:
- Experience working in a pediatric therapy setting is preferred.
- Proficiency with EMR systems, particularly SimplePractice, is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a busy environment.
- Familiarity with insurance verification processes.
- Consistent, professional dress, and manner.
