Construction Proposal Coordinator

We are seeking a Proposal Coordinator who will be responsible for strategic proposal and presentation development and promotional programs. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of high-visibility, high-impact initiatives for the company. Candidate must be highly organized, detailed-oriented, a strong communicator, a skilled writer and demonstrate creative design and critical thinking proficiency.

Tyler, TX based General Contractor (15+ years in business) specializing in senior housing, commercial development, and general commercial construction.

Primary duties:

· Ability to create high level proposals and presentations.

· Ensure all standards and requirements are met on proposal submissions.

· Track data, process changes, and disseminate communication between owner, internal staff, and subcontractors.

· Coordinates the development of proposals, the implementation and distribution of project documents internally to the project team as well as to the prospective bidders.

· Create engaging content for social media platforms

Job Requirements:

· 3-5 years of experience in writing proposals, not necessarily in construction

· Excellent verbal and written communication

· Driven self-motivator who can work within designated parameters without having to be micromanaged.

· Ability to multi-task and work under pressure and deadlines.

· Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented

· Excellent time management skills

· Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe, Prezi, Canva

· English degree or equivalent work experience considered

· Understanding of construction processes and project delivery is a plus
