Job DescriptionJob Description

Play a critical role in partnering with a metal and steel manufacturer when you become a quality assurance specialist for this family-owned business that has been around for more than 100 years in Omaha, NE.

What matters most as a quality assurance specialist:

  • Pay of $17-$20 an hour
  • On-site position located in the Omaha area
  • 1st shift, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
  • Benefits include; medical, dental, and vision, additional benefits such as group accident, critical illness w/ cancer benefits, short-term disability, behavioral health, term life, and identity theft.
  • Weekly pay via direct deposit

Your new role as a quality assurance specialist:

  • Inspect parts to assure they meet quality standard and expectations of the customer.
  • Partner with Project Management team to ensure reliable and timely executed APQP and PPAP process.
  • Ensure PPAP capability that meets or exceed all industry and customer requirements.
  • Ensure timely submission of PPAPs to customers.
  • Conduct quality measurements and complete customer documentation prior to series production and delivery to customers.
  • Ensure that quality capabilities meet or exceed all industry and customer requirements.
  • Abide by ISO and ISO/IATF quality standards at all times.
  • Collaborate with customers providing assistance and responding to inquiries.

What you need as a quality assurance specialist:

  • Ability to use Direct read measuring devices required.
  • Experience using MS Office Suite, 3D Modeling CAD software
  • A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a Quality Assurance position.
