Position Summary

This field service technician will provide quality installation, inspections, maintenance and repair services for hoist & crane equipment. This field service technician will also uphold the highest level of professional integrity and ethics as required to instill customer confidence & continued success in service. Travel is a must.

Shift: Day / Weekends / Emergency Break Downs

Your Tasks

  • Troubleshoot, repair & inspect overhead cranes & hoists.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities on equipment.
  • Support customers by effectively interfacing with customer & office in repairing equipment as needed.
  • Evaluate & make recommendations regarding required repairs for customers.
  • Maintain rapport with customers by examining complaints, identifying solutions, suggesting improved methods & techniques, and recommending system improvements.
  • Service overhead crane systems by performing quality installations, performing OSHA/ANSI equivalent inspections, documenting and completing warranty work, troubleshooting breakdowns, performing preventive maintenance, and responding to repair calls.
  • Document service & installation actions by completing forms, reports, and inspection checklist.
  • Builds & maintains customer confidence by maintaining good response time, informing customer of problems, and completing the job in a timely manner.
  • Maintain professional presentation, timeliness, appearance, & organization in all areas.
  • Must have electrical experience and be able to troubleshoot electrical problems.

Your Profile

  • HS Diploma
  • 5+ years of related experience. Industrial electric experience is a must.
  • Hoist / Crane certified (REQUIRED)
  • Knowledge of PLCs and high voltage motors.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to pass drug test and background screenings
