Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Technical Project Manager with 2-4 years of experience to oversee and drive IT projects from inception through completion. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in planning, coordination, and execution of technology projects, with expertise in managing multidisciplinary teams and ensuring project objectives are met effectively and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Coordination:

    • Conduct thorough planning, coordination, and tracking of IT projects and full lifecycle tasks.
    • Assess customer requirements and provide recommendations on suitable technology solutions.
    • Identify technology solutions, assess their fit, and provide guidance on implementation.
    • Develop detailed project schedules using project management systems.
    • Identify and allocate resources, manage vendor tasks, and estimate project costs.

  • Project Management:

    • Facilitate and direct multidisciplinary teams to ensure project objectives are met.
    • Assess risks and track project progress, making necessary adjustments to keep the project on track.
    • Develop and maintain project dashboards to provide visibility into project status.
    • Manage project budgets and report on progress to stakeholders.

  • Analysis & Consultation:

    • Provide analysis and consultation on IT infrastructure development, including security and recovery.
    • Work closely with county IT staff to address integration issues and ensure seamless project execution.
    • Manage solution vendor/implementer tasks and ensure all deliverables meet quality standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in managing IT projects with a demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage resources.
  • Proficiency in project management systems and tools.
  • Strong understanding of technology solutions, infrastructure development, and integration issues.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.

Preferred Qualifications: Good to have

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent..
  • Familiarity with IT security and recovery protocols.
