RA Administrative Assistant Position Overview

To perform the Regulatory Affairs Administrative Assistant role successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential duties at a satisfactory level.  The position is a Non-Exempt level role that requires the use of skills attained from industry experience or transferrable industry skills experience.  The Administrative Assistant works under supervision of the Director of Regulatory Affairs.  This role is responsible for administrative support to the department.  These duties are a usual and customary part of the role.

Solari Enterprises, Inc. is a full-service property management company that specializes in multifamily affordable housing.

 Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Updates and makes copies of required forms for new resident interviews.
  • Updates and makes copies of leases and all applicable addendums.
  • Runs Credit and Criminal Background Checks during lease-ups.
  • Assists with the deposits received for Credit/Background or Security Deposits.
  • Assists with the input of new applications into Yardi for wait lists.
  • Assists with Yardi and keeps the wait list up-to-date during interviews, records and sends letters for denials, etc.
  • Assists with all other aspects of a lease-up with the Compliance Team and handles specific items until an on-site manager is hired.
  • Follows up on move in approvals and obtains remaining items as requested from site managers.
  • Files all move-in approvals as completed in the Compliance Department

          Yardi:

  • Assists with setting up new properties in Yardi and inputs new resident’s household information (member, income, assets) during lease-ups.

  • Performs general Yardi work as it becomes available.

    Reports:

  • Works with Compliance to scan files for annual or quarterly reports for Solari Properties and Consulting.

    Consulting:

  • Assists with mailing of the verifications obtained from interviews and follows up on outstanding items that have been requested.

  • Mails monthly interview letters.

    General:

  • Assists with the monthly check of utilities at their respective websites to make sure current information is on file.

  • Works with Compliance making sure rent portion changes and HA Inspections from Housing Authorities are tracked and processed for all parties concerned in a timely manner.

  • Completes monthly mailing of Marathon Cooperative’s monthly statements and any other properties as needed.

    Additionally, all team members must adhere to and comply with all policies, procedures, processes and guidelines of Solari Enterprises, Inc

 Required Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 2 years of experience in a fast-paced administrative and customer service environment
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and the general computer skills
  • Knowledge of Yardi Software
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Reliable transportation
  • Valid California driver’s license
  • Proof of auto insurance

 Compensation:

  • $22.00 Hourly
