Job Summary:
Are you a seasoned professional with a passion for property management? NSG, Inc. is seeking a dynamic and experienced Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our assigned properties. In this role, you will be responsible for managing both interior and exterior functions, including events, meetings, building maintenance, parking facilities, construction projects, and campus updates. You will also serve as a vital communication link between customers, facility teams, contractors, and vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement project plans aligned with business objectives.
- Manage multiple departmental projects, ensuring timely and targeted deliverables.
- Serve as a liaison between onsite managers, tenants, and property owners.
- Assist in the creation and execution of Long-Range Property Plans and annual work plans.
- Coach, mentor, and train staff, including Building Service Coordinators, Garage Staff, and Design Teams.
- Oversee site managers and custodial staff, including internal and external vendors.
- Manage parking solutions for downtown properties.
- Inspect buildings and optimize the use of space and facilities.
- Plan, budget, and schedule facilities modifications, including cost estimates and contract management.
- Ensure safety and security policies are implemented and maintained.
- Coordinate building space allocation, layout, and communication services.
- Approve payroll for direct reports.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with automated records systems is a plus.
- Proven ability to develop and manage operational and capital budgets.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on employee interaction and management.
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills, with a talent for training others.
- In-depth understanding of property management laws, guidelines, and best practices.
- Highly customer-focused with a professional approach to client interactions.
- Reliable and accountable in all job duties.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with custom software tools, such as scheduling, incident reporting, and bar code scanning.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- BOMA Designation of RPA or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of related work experience, preferably in a commercial high-rise environment.
- At least 10 years of experience in leading and developing teams.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, talk, or hear.
- Occasionally required to stoop, bend, or lift up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities, including close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking as needed to perform work.
