As a Solar Appointment Setter, your main responsibility will be to engage with potential customers in residential areas to educate them about the benefits of solar energy and schedule appointments for our solar energy consultants. You will be expected to approach homeowners in a friendly and professional manner, answer any questions they may have about solar energy, and provide information about our company’s products and services. Strong communication skills and positive attitude are essential for this role. Previous sales or canvassing experience is a plus but not required. Responsibilities:

• Engaging with Homeowners in residential areas to promote solar energy solutions

• Educating potential customers about the benefits of eco-friendly, green solar energy products and how it can save them money and impact the environment.

• Generating leads and scheduling appointments for solar energy consultations

• Collecting contact information and maintaining accurate records of interactions with customers.

• Follow up with lead and potential customers to answer any additional questions and encourage them to move forward with solar installation

• Collaborating with the sales team to ensure a smooth transition from lead generation to closing sales.

• Representing the company in a professional and positive manner at all times.

• Bilingual candidates may have the opportunity to communicate with non-English speaking individuals.

Qualifications:

• Strong communication skills

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with customers

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a positive attitude.

• Knowledge or interest in renewable energy and solar technology

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Previous experience in canvassing or sales is a bonus

Compensation:

$20/hr base pay plus uncapped bonuses

• Bonus structure with a minimum expectation of $90,000 in the first year
