Job DescriptionJob Description

One of the largest manufacturers of consumer goods in the golf industry is currently seeking an Equipment Maintenance Mechanic to support manufacturing. The ideal candidate should be mechanically inclined and able to perform the essential job duties below to include repair and maintenance on equipment to support production and other internal groups.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Repair and maintain equipment consistent with company, state and federal procedures and regulations
  • Test completed assembly for proper operation of unit, make adjustments, and record all modifications.
  • Analyse mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic blueprints.
  • Modify equipment to enhance functionality and reliability
  • Required to maintain work records (work orders, PM's, Materials and parts) on computerized Maintenance system.

Preferable Experience:

  • 1-2 years in Maintenance as well as special skills listed below.
  • Demonstrated mechanical skills techniques
  • Knowledge of HVAC
  • Knowledge of hydraulic and/or electrical schematics
  • Knowledge of plumbing and piping

Additional Experience a Plus

  • Should work well with others and have communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Should have analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Should have a thorough knowledge of mechanical related production equipment.
  • Formal PLC knowledge preferred.
  • Working knowledge if NFPA 70E preferred.

Must have the ability to:

  • Read, write and speak English
  • Follow manufacturing/equipment specifications
  • Perform basic math calculations
  • Use blueprints and schematics
  • Use a computer
  • Use/understand measuring devices/tolerances
  • Use various hand and power tools
  • Learn and apply quality standards of workmanship/product
  • Use machine tools such as drills, lathes, millers etc.
  • Pass Leadership Assessment
