Kerotest Manufacturing Corp. is seeking a Materials Planner that will help to ensure that the right materials are available for production in a timely manner.  The ideal candidate will create production and purchasing orders and schedules based on demand, capacity and resource availability.  They will handle all purchasing activities required for production orders.  If you have experience in material planning, purchasing, inventory management, and possess a strong work ethic, we encourage you to apply.

Key Job Elements:

  • Coordinate with production teams to align material availability with production schedules.
  •  Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues and concerns.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock.
  • Implement inventory control strategies to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
  • Address any materials-related issues promptly to avoid disruptions.
  • Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Monitor on-time delivery, report any foreseen issue, and contribute to improvements in delivery metrics.
  • Able to help set and meet the KPI’s for the group.
  • Ability to adhere and meet Production scheduling demands.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or other related field.
  • 5+ years’ experience in materials planning and purchasing and procurement in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes and supply chain best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office specifically Excel and ERP systems.
  • Ability to adhere and meet Production scheduling demands.
