POSITION SUMMARY:

This person will be responsible for material requirements planning and material availability by ensuring that the materials required to manufacture finished products or superior assemblies are available on time.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Utilize SAP to evaluate the MRP lists and make all appropriate planning changes.
  • Plan and secure raw materials for products.
  • Review and schedule orders for finished goods.
  • Ensure parts are available based on orders, networks and forecasts.
  • Consult with other departments about sales, logistics, and shipping.
  • Monitor stocks and range of coverage.
  • Create and maintain material master information.
  • Make all appropriate goods issues with the correct assignment.
  • Counting of physical inventory, including entering information in SAP and troubleshooting.

Required:

  • Inventory control in a manufacturing setting.
  • Excellent computer knowledge.
  • Time management and ability manage workload accordingly.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Professional individual with excellent organizational, documentation and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize numerous projects.

Preferred:

  • Education: College degree or coursework in a job-related field.
  • Knowledge of MRP systems.
