We are seeking a dedicated Midwife to join our healthcare team. The Midwife will be responsible for providing care to expectant mothers before, during, and after childbirth. She will also be responsible for wellness and annual exams, as well as gyn visits. This role requires a compassionate individual with excellent patient care skills. We also run a busy clinic with our FNP. We all take our clinic to heart and are looking for the perfect missing link

Duties:

- Conduct prenatal examinations and provide prenatal care to pregnant individuals
- Labor and delivery, ensuring the health and well-being of both mother and baby
- Educate patients on pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care
- Monitor fetal development and maternal health throughout pregnancy
- Provide postpartum care, including newborn assessments and support for new mothers
- Collaborate with obstetricians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients

- Care for women in all aspects of their lives

Skills:

- Proficient in case management for pregnant individuals
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
- Experience in acute care settings for labor and delivery
- Strong patient assessment skills
- Understanding of anatomy and physiology related to pregnancy and childbirth
- Familiarity with discharge planning procedures
- Proficiency in medical record systems such as ICD-9 coding
- Experience with eClinicalWorks or similar electronic medical record systems
- Ability to work effectively in a medical office setting
