A.R.I.S.E. Community Solutions is a privately owned nonprofit clinic focusing on mental health counseling and substance use support. A.R.I.S.E. is looking for a Master Level Counselor who is interested in obtaining counseling experience with supervision.

As a master-level counselor, your role involves understanding and implementing individual treatment plans in collaboration with patients and supervisors. This includes identifying mental health issues and either treating them or referring patients to other professionals. Additionally, you should be able to work with patients' families when necessary. Success in this role requires excellent interpersonal skills, empathy, and professionalism. Counselors must identify mental health issues and recommend the most suitable course of action for each patient. Compassion, along with strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills, is essential. Counselors collaborate closely with Case Managers, Social Workers, Parents, and team members, consulting and coordinating on patients’ progress and treatment plans.

Requirements:

  • Currently holds a master’s in counseling
  • A valid Dept. of Public Safety fingerprint clearance card.
  • A valid CPR/First Aid In-Person Training
  • A valid AZ Driver’s License
  • Background in health care, social work, mental health, disability care, or substance use recovery
  • At least 21 years of age
