Reliant Air Conditioning now has an open position for a Design Specialist in our New Construction Department The Design Specialist will be responsible for performing heat-loss/heat-gain calculations (Manual J's), ductwork design, material take-off's, job costing, and will be in constant communication with builders regarding the coordination and scheduling of our production and new construction activities.

Responsibilities:

-Calculate Residential Manual J load calculations

- Design HVAC systems with ductwork layout

- Perform material take-offs

- Communicate with builders

- Working knowledge of air conditioning for New Residential construction is a plus

Qualifications:

- Intermediate to advanced computer skills

- Experience with Wrightsoft (preferred)

- High school education

- Proven, dependable work history

- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check

- Clean driving record
