Clinic Manager at Sage Dermatology and Mohs

We're hiring a full-time clinic manager for our  new dermatology practice. We're looking for an office manager to grow with us and help us manage the exciting changes ahead.

Work Experience:

At least 1-2 years managerial experience, medical managerial experience preferred but not required.

Education:

Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.

Skills:

Ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and respectfully. Ability to adapt and implement new systems, and processes. Excellent organizational skills- can maintain and improve systems of organization. Eagerness to learn and improve.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Staffing

Recruits and hires all staff members, in conjunction with the providers. Assures proper training. Assures adequate coverage of all office hours and non-patient contract work. Supervises all employees. Conducts employee evaluations. Conducts evaluation of employer/employee problems.  Track employees PTO.  Counsels, disciplines, or terminates employees as appropriate. Maintains a file on each employee. Maintains current knowledge of Federal, State, and Local regulations involving employers. Acts as a liaison between physician/PA and staff. Holds staff meetings. Meets regularly with owners/physician/PA to discuss the needs of the practice.

2. Marketing

Develops, implements and tracks marketing plans for the office. Prepares statements for the physician, showing source of revenue, number of new patients, referral sources, and any positive or negative developments in growth patterns. Creates and maintains programs to insure good patient and community relations.

3. Financial Management

Oversees accounts receivable. Creates and presents monthly reports ie profit and loss statements to owners/physician. Audits di-weekly payroll.

4. Liaison

Acts as liaison between practice and those who provide supplies, and services to the practice.

5. Compliance

Assures compliance of the practice and its employees with federal, state, and local government regulations ie Medicare, MIPS, OSHA, CLIA, HIPPA.

6. Medical Records

Maintains system of completing medical records that is efficient. Assures that all information is documented correctly. Maintains and audits a system of tracking all outstanding medical record information such as lab results.  Monitor and edit patient communication.

7. Project Implementation/Improvement

Implement or improve systems and processes in accordance with the needs of the practice.

8.  Electronic Medical Record and Practice Management

Complete training in Modernizing Medicine/EMA EMR and Practice Management software and demonstrate a mastery of management. 

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23-26/hour depending on experience
