If you're a skilled problem-solver who loves working on a variety of machinery, we want to hear from you

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Gear Up: Maintain and organize your service vehicle, ensuring it’s always ready for action. Keep it secure and in top shape with regular inspections and preventive maintenance.
  • On-Site Expertise: Travel to customer job sites to perform repairs and maintenance on a wide range of equipment, from forklifts to tractors to trailers.
  • Diagnostic Pro: Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with both Barnsco and customer-owned equipment. Utilize your mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic skills to restore machinery to peak performance.
  • Customer Communication: Keep our customers and internal teams informed about repair progress and solutions. Your clear and effective communication ensures everyone stays in the loop.
  • Team Player: Collaborate closely with the Service Manager and Service Coordinator. Be ready to tackle any additional tasks that may come your way.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading schematics, computer-assisted troubleshooting, and a solid foundation in mechanical and electrical work.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of hands-on experience in field service construction equipment maintenance.
  • Tools: You’ll need your own basic set of industrial tools to get the job done.
  • Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds, navigate equipment safely, and have excellent vision for both close and distant work.
  • License: A valid, current driver’s license is a must.
  • Flexibility: Availability for after-hours service calls is required.
