SIA Systems is currently seeking full-time Security Alarm Install Technicians.

Duties:

  • Installation of security cameras: This includes positioning, mounting and aiming
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on a variety of systems
  • Complete troubleshooting, minor and major mechanical repairs, control system corrections, component replacement, and other routine and complex tasks
  • Analyze equipment failures and damages to determine cause and recommend and take corrective action
  • Document all work with appropriate service forms
  • Provide guidance and training to clients in establishing operation, maintenance, and inspection procedures and techniques

Qualifications:

  • 3-years experience with Security, Electrical, or Construction industries is applicable and a plus.
  • MUST to have the skills and knowledge to use basic hand tools, as well as familiarity with their names.
  • Must be detail-oriented, with the ability to maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Must be able to pass a post-offer drug screen and background check, including FBI Live Scan.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and comfortable with bending, stooping, reaching, and climbing ladders to heights over 30 feet with fall protection.
  • Must be willing to work in confined spaces such as attics and crawl spaces.
  • Must be fluent in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour, based on experience.

Benefits are offered after 90 days of employment

Work Location:

  • This position involves extensive driving to various job sites across multiple locations, including Los Angeles, Ventura, and Orange Counties.

Typical start time:

  • 7.30AM

Typical end time:

  • 4.00PM
