RPh on the Go has partnered with an inpatient hospital pharmacy in Coquille, OR, to offer a travel assignment for a qualified pharmacist with inpatient experience. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment with great hours and the potential for a permanent position.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and interpret medication orders for inpatients and outpatients.
  • Prepare and/or check medications before distribution to various offices, clinics, and ambulance services.
  • Counsel patients being discharged from the hospital on medication management.
  • Inspect pharmacy inventory to ensure drugs are maintained according to departmental policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Active pharmacist license in the state of Oregon.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an inpatient hospital pharmacy setting.
  • Experience in an acute care hospital setting is preferred.
