Overall Responsibility

As a Distribution Team Member, you will help in company growth, by ensuring inventory accuracy, being responsible for conducting cycle counts and putting finished goods in their designated locations. You will also be part of a unique company that provides a multitude of services, including; selling new and refurbished terminals, printers, phones, phone systems, telecommunications equipment, personal computers, and peripherals, as well as IT Asset Disposition (ITAD).

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Order Fulfillment: Pulling material for customer invoices using MHE (order pickers, reach trucks, and forklifts) when the product is in the air. We have eliminated the need for ladders to ensure each employee can enjoy each day and never feel overworked. For inventory located low enough to reach without MHE in our distribution center, we utilize a new technology called Moonwalkers, which are devices that strap onto your shoes and allow you to walk up to 7 MPH without any extra effort.

  • Expediting Invoices: Some of our invoices will ship immediately whereas others will need to pass through our testing department for upgrades, repair, or re-evaluation if it is outside of our 365-day threshold. Where invoices head to next is the main responsibility of the expeditor.

  • Inventory Control (Put Away): Organizing material, palletizing and wrapping pallets (when in bulk), and locating them to designated areas in our distribution center. Reporting and learning how to navigate any inaccuracies to be sure our inventory is maintained and accurate at all times.

  • Shipping: Packaging invoices within company standards, being sure that product is protected from potential damages during transport using materials such as bubble wrap/pillows/blankets/outer packs, etc.

  • Packaging: Packaging products within company standards utilizing the same materials as we do in shipping, to be sent to Inventory Control for Put Away.

  • Inbound/Outbound Freight: Responsible for loading and unloading inbound and outbound freight via usage of forklifts. Taking photos of inbound freight while on the carrier's truck, weighing and photographing the shipment utilizing our scale program. Notating Bill of Ladings if any damages or discrepancies are noticed.

  • Outbound Commodities: Recording weights and photos of commodity materials utilizing our scale program, that are to be located to and staged in containers at our distribution center.

Job Specifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma / College Preferred.

  • Experience: Order fulfillment, Inventory Management, Shipping, General Warehousing, Operation of MHE.

  • Work in a distribution center/warehouse environment, lifting 35-70 lbs on a daily basis.

  • Provides insight to company leadership and teams regarding inventory processes, controls and advancements

  • Understands and observes all safety procedures and practices

  • Adheres to company culture, guidelines, process enhancements, and technical applications

  • Positively support Management in creating, implementing, and adhering to overall strategies for the company
