What you will do:

As a Clinical Pharmacist Consultant, you will meet with patients virtually to provide patient counseling and support to discuss prescribed medication. This is an independent contractor position perfect for someone who can work 20 hours a week (Monday through Friday), generally between the hours of 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST.

 

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Meet with a diverse group of patients virtually to provide guidance on medication
  • Conduct comprehensive medication reviews to optimize therapeutic outcomes for patients (this includes assessing the appropriateness, effectiveness, and safety of medications).
  • Ensure accurate and complete medication information and documentation using My.RxLive.
  • Collaborate with providers and patients to ensure the best health outcomes through medication management.
  • Represent RxLive in a professional manner following all Company policies and procedures.


Required Education and Experience:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
  • Active, clear and unrestricted license in state of position posting. (Licensure in additional states is a plus.)
  • At least 3 years of clinical, retail, and/or MTM experience.
  • Direct patient counseling experience.
  • Strong analytical abilities to assess medication regimens and interpret clinical data.
  • Exceptional verbal, listening and motivational interviewing skills.
  • Excellent patient-focused customer service skills.
  • Team-player attitude with the ability to learn and implement new processes quickly.
  • Results-focused and detail-oriented customer service professional with a clear focus on high quality.
  • Compassionate demeanor with ability to quickly build rapport with patients.
  • Self-motivation and ability to work effectively and efficiently in an independent environment.

 

Additionally, the selected independent contractor must:

  • Maintain personal liability insurance
  • Have reliable access to secure high-speed internet
  • Have laptop/PC with video capabilities
  • Have access to a HIPAA-secure quiet workplace
  • Be willing to complete and pass a drug test and background screening before beginning of contract

  • Travel is not required.
