We are searching for a Kitchen & Bath Designer to join our team.  If you have an eye for design, enjoy working with people, and believe the details matter, this is the career opportunity you have been waiting for We are locally owned and operated with an established customer base. We are known for our customer service and professional staff. Our showroom is a one stop shop for customers to make their space unique.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately & efficiently translate measurements into working designs
  • Create detailed drawings using 2020 design software
  • Schedule appointments for showroom customer consultations
  • Create and present project proposals for client approval
  • Keep up to date with current products & services provided
  • Develop design ideas, compute budget ranges, and select various finishes
  • Meet multiple project deadlines in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with in house team of professional tradesmen & project managers
  • Maintain showroom by keeping samples, displays and common areas neat, current, and clean

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years work experience in Kitchen & Bath Design, Cabinetry Sales, or similar role
  • Strong working knowledge of 2020 design software
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints a plus
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in communications, interior design, architectural design, or a similar field a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to adapt and respond quickly to customers’ needs and wants
  • Strong organizational skills & the flexibility to jump from priority to priority
  • Advanced time management skills and detailed oriented
