Job Summary: The Set Up Technician will serve as a crucial link between raw materials and production. This role involves managing the flow of materials on the production floor, ensuring that raw materials are moved to the appropriate areas, and utilizing RF scanners for accurate inventory tracking. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage the movement of raw materials to designated production areas.
  • Operate RF scanners to track and record inventory accurately.
  • Lift and move materials as needed, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies or shortages.
  • Work closely with production staff to ensure timely and efficient material availability.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize material flow and production efficiency.
  • Follow company policies and procedures to ensure compliance and safety.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of material handling or related experience.
  • Experience in coordinating materials in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with RF scanning technology and inventory management systems.
  • Ability to lift and move materials, with physical stamina for a 10-hour shift.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Professional demeanor with a focus on teamwork and communication.
  • Previous experience as an inventory specialist is a plus.
  • Manufacturing experience in any industry is acceptable, as long as the candidate meets the experience requirements
