Sapna's Childcare was established to provide quality, loving, and nurturing care for children 6 weeks-12 years of age. We are looking for individuals who genuinely love interacting with young children, who are earnest, and who find sense and purpose in contributing to the early years in a child's life. A cheerful, kind, respectful, and readiness attitude is preferred along with openness towards children and families. Additionally, applicants should demonstrate clear communication skills, interest in professional development and growth, and strong organizational skills. We value creativity with our Creative Curriculum based framework which focus on making learning fun for the children and staff. Ideally applicants will have some form of experience however Sapna's Childcare provides training opportunities and resources to help guide individuals with fewer experiences. We love the work we do and hope to find people who prioritize the health and wellbeing of the children in our care. 

Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Prepare lesson plans and lead teacher assistants.
  • Take attendance and document daily behavior
  • Ensure classroom and work are kept clean and orderly
  • Oversee children at all time
  • Comply with all daycare regulations and policies at all times

Must be detail-oriented and follow written and verbal instructions. Must effectively use and have/learn in-depth knowledge of teaching practices that ensure learning is meaningful and efficient. Must have completed a high school education and have a strong command of the English language (we have a diverse group of staff and children so individuals who speak multiply languages are appreciated; specifically Spanish). Must pass drug screening and background check.
