JOB PURPOSE

The primary objectives of the Revenue Audit Clerk are to monitor the data from all revenue generating centers to protect company assets, assure adherences to policies and procedures, and monitor compliance with gaming regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Retrieve and organize information from revenue centers
  • Review, compile, and maintain data
  • Enter data in spreadsheets and other computer programs
  • Make corrections to documentations as necessary
  • Follow up on any inconsistencies that may be found in the course of the audit
  • Issue audit exceptions as necessary
  • Monitor data for trends and report all trends found to Revenue Audit Manager
  • Regular and punctual attendance is an essential function of this position

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Other duties as assigned to facilitate the efficiency of Casino operations
  • Operate as an emergency Pull/Count Team member as required.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of high school graduate or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years of general accounting experience or revenue audit experience within a casino environment.
  • Use of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access) as well for spreadsheet, reporting
  • Ability to use normal office equipment with some proficiency such as, but not limited to, 10 key; printer; copier; and telephone.
  • Ability to learn to use other software used to monitor casino operations (Konami, Micros, Vendor operating systems, etc…)
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and written using appropriate English standards of language
  • Ability to have a flexible schedule to provide for Casino requirements
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in a high stress/profile environment

LANGUAGE AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS

  • Ability to prepare, read, and interpret documents; write reports and correspondence; and speak and communicate effectively with individuals and before groups of people
  • Ability to compose grammatically correct documents
  • Ability to verbally communicate using appropriate English standards of language

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

  • Ability to accurately calculate figures and amounts and perform mathematical functions applicable to business needs

LICENSING

  • Must be able to qualify for any and all licenses or permits required by local, State, Federal and/or Wyandotte Nation law

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to stand, walk, and take a minimum of 80 (eighty) stairs for entirety of shift as required to conduct normal assigned duties
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry 35# (thirty-five pounds) in emergency situations
  • Ability to function in a smoking environment
  • Employee smoking is restricted to outside location and during break times
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
