Job Purpose

15-35 hours per week | Start Date: ASAP / January 15, 2023

As Fulfillment Associate, you will report to our warehouse manager who knows the ‘ins and outs’ of the business and will be on hand to train and support you. You will be responsible for executing the day-to-day fulfillment center activities including, but not limited to:

- Packing orders

- Assisting with general warehouse duties

- Maintaining a clean workspace

- Building outgoing pallet orders

- Taking inventory and light admin work

- Forklifting - if you are licensed. If interested you can also be trained on this.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with managers and fellow employees to establish, communicate, and execute measurable operations goals that deliver uncompromised safety, quality, service, and performance results.
  • Act as a resource for the team to set them up for success.
  • Have a positive and motivational tone with the team.
  • Ability to print shipping labels from our shipping software. We will train you on this
  • Work daytimes and weekdays (approximately 8am-3pm, Monday- Friday)

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with warehouse machinery an advantage
  • You can lift heavy boxes and push or pull heavy items that weigh between 30 and 50 pounds.
  • Experience in a food manufacturing/distribution or grocery environment preferred
  • You don’t mind physical work, it energizes you.
  • You get the job done and you make things happen, even if the day is not perfect.
  • You know how to use a smartphone or computer.
  • You have reliable transportation to and from work

Physical Requirements

  • We characterize this role as physically demanding. Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as lifting, walking, balancing, stooping, bending, climbing, pushing, pulling carts, and handling of materials.
  • Must be able to regularly lift, carry and/or push and/or pull between 30 to 50 pounds.
  • Walking, Standing, Reaching: Up, down or laterally, up to 8 hours combined per day
