Job DescriptionJob Description

A-Line Staffing is currently seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician working in a closed door pharmacy under the direct supervision of the Operations Manager and Pharmacist, the pharmacy technician will fulfill prescription drug orders in a fully automated Central Fill Pharmacy environment.

  • The pay for this position is $19.00/hr
  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

 

Highlights:

  • Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm
  • Hybrid role onsite for rotation 3-4 days per month
  • Contract to Hire

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pharmacist in patient care through order fulfillment, completion and delivery of the final product to the patient, and follow-up with
  • members of the care team.
  • Utilize proper recordkeeping in appropriate systems as related to patient interactions, inventory management, prescription processing, delivery management
  • Accurately completes prescription data entry, filling, packaging, and logistics steps
  • Complies with established procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Complies with all Texas State Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations
  • Complies with customer service expectations as applicable to the department
  • Promoting teamwork, professional services, and clear communication
  • Understand confidentiality for patient/client care; comply with all federal and state laws applicable to the confidentiality of protected health
  • information (PHI) and electronic protected health information (EPHI); and follow HIPAA guidelines regarding readily identifiable protected health information


Required Qualifications

  • This position requires license with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy
  • Shown success working in a team-oriented environment.
  • Prior experience working in a Central Fill facility is desired but not required.
  • Inventory Management experience
  • Prior leadership experience (Team Lead)
