Position Summary: The Pharmacy Technician will operate under the guidance of the Operations Manager and Pharmacist, ensuring efficient processing of prescription orders in a fully automated pharmacy setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the pharmacist in delivering patient care through the accurate fulfillment and delivery of prescriptions.
- Maintain precise records related to patient interactions, inventory control, and prescription processing.
- Execute prescription data entry, filling, packaging, and logistics with accuracy.
- Adhere to established protocols, regulations, and customer service standards.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable pharmacy laws and regulations.
- Foster a collaborative environment through effective communication and teamwork.
- Uphold patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations regarding protected health information.
Qualifications:
- Open to trainees.
- Experience in a Central Fill facility is preferred.
- Background in inventory management.
- Previous leadership experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with automation equipment, specifically Parata PASS.
- Proficiency in Excel is advantageous.
