We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial records for our company. 

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports
  • Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets
  • Perform audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements
  • Create new processes to improve financial efficiency
  • Report analysis and findings to management team
  • Prepares daily financial and production activity reports.
  • Collects data and provides support for other departments.
  • Audits and develops policies tied to the accounting department.
  • Provides accounting perspective for company projects.
  • Because of the changing nature of our business, this job description will inevitably change. The employee will, from time to time, be required to undertake other activities of a similar nature that fall within his/her capabilities as directed by management

​Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in accounting or other related fields
  • Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
  • Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools
  • Detail and deadline-oriented
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Knowledge and Skills:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business required.
  2. Proficiency with Excel or similar spreadsheet software required.
  3. Experience in the manufacturing sector is preferred.
  4. Experience in cost accounting is preferred.

Working Conditions:

Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work. May require lifting of up to 20 pounds.
