Job DescriptionJob Description

The Service Coordinator works with our Insurance and Group Benefits team to deliver superior service to our clients, and ensure that their individual or group benefits needs are met. This position will focus on servicing our existing clients, as well as supporting the team in pursuing new opportunities. They will be responsible for assisting and responding to day to day service requests and questions regarding their group or individual coverage.

  • Resolve client billing, coverage, change and claims issues in a quick, customer friendly manner.
  • Develop relationships with vendors to insure timely responses.
  • Assist clients in understanding their benefit coverage.
  • Quickly and efficiently process rate renewal, enrollment, and claims paperwork.
  • Build relationships internally and collaborate effectively on renewal packages and presentations for potential clients.
  • Evaluate and implement improved production workflows and processes for systems to improve business operations
  • Assist clients with administrative processes
  • Database documentation, audits and file management

Traits and Abilities :

  • Excellent client service and relationship building skills
  • Understanding of insurance plans, including health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance
  • Experience in medical billing or insurance verification.
  • Intrinsically motivated
  • Highly organized with the ability to handle multiple projects
  • Highly detail oriented
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
