Job Title: Summer Internship – Radar System MATLAB App Design and System Testing

Location: Cambridge, MA

Duration: 10 weeks (Full-time internship)

Number of Positions: 1

This summer, we are offering a unique internship opportunity for students passionate about advancing radar technology in a fast-paced startup environment.

Position Overview: We are seeking a talented Summer Intern with experience in MATLAB App Design and radar systems testing. The intern will work closely with our founding team to design, develop, and test MATLAB applications for radar system analysis. This internship provides hands-on experience in a professional setting, enhancing both technical and collaborative skills. Interns will work with talented engineering team and engage with global customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop user-friendly applications using MATLAB App Designer.
  • Assist in the testing and validation of radar systems.
  • Implementation and optimization of radar signal processing algorithms.
  • Analyze radar data and perform simulations to evaluate system performance.
  • Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Document code, testing procedures, and results comprehensively.
  • Participate in team meetings, contributing ideas and updates on progress.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Masters’ degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field.
  • Experience with MATLAB App Designer and related toolboxes.
  • Basic understanding of radar systems and signal processing concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with other programming languages such as Python or C++
  • Previous projects or coursework related to radar systems or signal processing
  • Familiarity with digital signal processing (DSP) techniques
  • Knowledge of testing methodologies and tools
  • Experience with version control systems like Git
