Our National Creditors' rights law firm seeks Associate and/or Management level attorneys for its Georgia Collections practice. The position will provide our candidate with an opportunity to immerse themselves in the day-to-day bustle of our litigated Debt Collections practice area on behalf of national banking clients and financial institutions. The ideal candidate will have the ability to organize and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines, exhibit meticulous attention to detail, and produce an accurate and high-quality work product in a fast-paced volume-based environment. The candidate must be able to work independently and possess strong interpersonal and analytical skills. Our firm maintains a fast-paced environment that prioritizes internal promotion, training, and professional development. As our team-members progress and demonstrate a consistent ability to meet performance standards, promotional opportunities become available.

Specific Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage portfolios of defaulted loans during the litigation cycle from Pre-Suit through Judgment execution 
  • Draft and review pleadings and correspondence during the pendency of the legal action
  • Attend court hearings and communicate with opposing counsel
  • Safeguard compliance with local, state, and federal laws
  • Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Intermediate to advanced-level computer and general office skills; strong interpersonal skills; Functional experience in Magistrate, State & Superior Courts
  • Ability to effectively communicate through both verbal and written electronic correspondence
  • Demonstrate an ability to analyze corrective action opportunities and present recommendations
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently AND with a team
