We are seeking a Production Picker to join our fortune 500 team. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary Duties

  1. Identify if frames are straight and in proper shape
  2. Trace all frame types.  This includes: Hide a bevel, grooved and drilledr frames
  3. Modify shapes of frames and trace paper tracings
  4. Take lenses out of frames and put parts in proper containers.  This includes: Sun clips and frame pieces
  5. Maintain neatness of workstation
  6. Calibrate Tracers
  7. Log tracer machine readings throughout the day and advise Supervisor immediately if there is any problem or error in the reading

Secondary Duties

  1. Work in receiving area
  2. Put Data Entry copies in correct trays and take to next department

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED.

Experience

  • Computer Experience is helpful

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Able to work as a team
  • Able to read and write English Language well
  • Ability to memorize large amounts of data accurately
  • Must be at work consistently and on time

Physical Requirements

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk.  The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.  The employee is occasionally required to sit.  The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.

Safety Requirements

  • Basic understanding and awareness of Injury and Illness Prevention Program
  • Must wear Safety glasses when shaving off patterns
  • Must use screw drivers in such a way as not to cut oneself by pressing against a solid object
