Vault Design is seeking an experienced individual to provide on-site coordination for all phases of commercial construction projects. This role oversees the daily execution of work with direct labor and subcontractors, coordination of materials and equipment and responsibility to ensure quality control against the design specifications. This role is expected to organize the work in cooperation with the Project Manager to proceed on schedule and within budget. The Construction Foreman shall be responsible for coordinating labor, schedules, inspections, quality control, as well as oversight of job site safety. This is a working Construction Foreman role responsible for construction support including self-preforming and managing company work groups at the direction of the Project Manager. Some travel is expected with this position.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily schedules and reports, troubleshoot scheduling concerns to maintain the Project Schedule
  • Ensure site safety compliance and leadership
  • Perform quality control and responsibilities regarding work being performed.
  • Communicate with project team regarding Status, conflicts, RFI management, and timing.
  • Ensure that subcontractor is fully executing and complying with his contracted scope of work.
  • Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions.
  • Identify subcontractor non-compliance with safety, health, and environmental quality standards.
  • Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to project team for resolution.
  • Maintain daily log (electronic) of activities and attendance on the jobsite.
  • Ensure subcontractor has corrected all deficiencies identified by project team.
  • Ensure that the job site is always kept in a clean and organized manner.
  • Perform job progress and completion punch list identification and completion.
