Job Summary:

We are seeking an extremely organized and proactive Household Manager/Personal Assistant to support our busy household. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, resourceful, and able to manage a variety of tasks efficiently. This part-time role offers a flexible schedule, making it perfect for someone who is reliable and able to adapt to changing needs.  

Guaranteed 10 hours a week.

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to handle various household tasks with attention to detail and efficiency.

· Knowledge of basic household management practices and procedures.

· Resourceful in terms of internet search and online shopping

· Comfortable working in a home with children and dogs

  • Positive attitude and willingness to assist where needed.
  • Subject to a background check.

· Verifiable work references

  • Valid driver's license, with willingness to run errands as needed.

 

Responsibilities:

Home Organization:

  • Develop household Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and manuals containing contact lists and tasks, household manual.
  • Maintain a high level of organization throughout the house, organizational systems for closets, cabinets, playroom, kitchen, and storage areas. Implement where needed.
  • Maintain inventory of household supplies, including toiletries, cleaning supplies, and pantry items.

Home Maintenance Oversight:

  • Schedule and oversee routine maintenance schedule and repairs, tasks such as HVAC servicing, appliance service, pest control, and gutter cleaning
  • Coordinate repairs and renovations with contractors and service providers.
  • Coordinate vehicle maintenance and detailing; ensure vehicles are serviced and cleaned regularly.

Miscellaneous Household Tasks

  • Change bedding regularly and ensure all linens are laundered and replaced.
  • Manage laundry, including washing, folding, and organizing clothes and linens.
  • Grocery shopping, including meal planning, light meal prep and stocking household supplies.
  • Perform light housekeeping (We have a house cleaning service, so this is light tidying)
  • Meal & ingredient prep if this is an area of strength for you

Personal Assistance:

  • Assist with personal shopping tasks, including clothing, gifts, and specialty items.
  • Run miscellaneous errands such as post office visits, donations, and dry cleaning pickup/drop-off.
  • Maintain appointments on household calendar
  • Manage holiday decorations and coordinate events and gatherings.
  • Entertainment planning and execution. Organizing family events and outings, schedule catering.
  • Assist with packing and unpacking for vacations.
  • Perform miscellaneous tasks around the home
