Job DescriptionJob Description

Clan Rayo Construction is currently seeking a full-time Assistant Project Manager to join our team and provide support to the project manager on multiple projects from pre-construction to completion.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Become familiar with established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements established by the company and its clients

- Observe and monitor ongoing projects and report to the Sr. Project Manager regarding compliance with documentation, drawings, and progress.

- Record field observations and ensure that projects are being executed according to client and company standards.

- Take field measurements, request supplier/sub-contractor quotes, and create accurate estimates

- Analyze and verify sub-contractor and vendor proposals, payment orders, and change order requests

- Coordinate project details with owners and assist in finding solutions for unexpected changes that may arise

- Participate in pre-construction, progress, and final completion meetings with clients and Sub-contractors

- Assist in design and execution of custom millwork

- Run safety meetings with employees and Sub-contractors

- Take pictures and videos of on-going and completed projects for social media

- Help with material pick up and distribution in the company vehicle

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

- Bilingual, with proficient communication skills in English and Spanish

- Bachelor’s degree (Experience may be considered in lieu of education)

- Strong leadership and delegation capabilities

- Organizational and project management skills

- Ability to successfully manage all aspects of the project including estimating, schedules, and budgets.

- Detail-oriented and strong communication skills

- A thorough understanding of Microsoft Office, experience with MS Projects

- Experience in construction preferred

- Weekend availability

- Proof of authorization to work in the United Stares

- Valid Driver’s License
