Are you a dedicated therapist with a passion for making a difference in the lives of children and teenagers? We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Part-Time Therapist to join our small private practice in the heart of rural South Texas, just 30 minutes South of San Antonio. This is a 1099 contractor position, offering the flexibility and fulfillment of working with young individuals aged 8-18 in a supportive and community-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions for children and teenagers aged 8-18.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans to address a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral challenges.
  • Collaborate with families, schools, and other community resources to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of sessions and progress notes.
  • Participate in regular supervision and team meetings to ensure the highest standard of care.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or higher in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Current Texas state license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent; Interns or Associates will be considered).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children and adolescents in a therapeutic OR school setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and cultural competence.
