Job Description

Job Summary:

Sunbright Hospice & Home Health is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our team. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Treatment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical therapy needs and develop personalized treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on proper use of therapeutic appliances and techniques to promote independence and self-care.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and evidence-based research to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Education: Possess a degree from a baccalaureate or master's program in physical therapy approved by an accredited organization.
  • Licensure: Be licensed to practice as a physical therapist by the Physical Therapy Board of California.
  • Experience: Have at least two years of experience as a physical therapist, with a preference for community/home health experience.
  • Skills: Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Certifications: Possess and maintain current CPR certification.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on experience.
