Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Description:  

Registered behavior technicians (RBT) are direct care professionals that work as part of a team including a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.  The RBT has a specialized skill set to implement a behavior analysis plan, collect data, conduct preference and other assessments, interact with families and other professionals as well as members of the community.  

 

Responsibilities:

The RBT will be responsible for following the treatment and behavior plans, collecting data, entering session notes daily, carrying out discrete trial instructions as well as natural environment teaching, and conducting preference assessments.  The RBT will report directly to the BCBA overseeing the case.  The RBT may also participate in social skills groups and community outings as appropriate/required.

 

Qualifications/Skills required:

RBT certification (or willing to pursue and complete RBT training within 90 days of hire)

CPR certification

Basic computer skills

Good written and oral communication skills

Valid driver's license

Proof of car insurance 

Current criminal background check (within last 30 days or an appointment to obtain one)


 

Other:

Most shifts occur Monday-Friday between 2:30-7, there are some day time (9-1) hours available and weekend hours.
