Marcum Search is partnering with a valued client in the Lincoln, RI area to recruit a Project Manager, a new addition to their team due to the company's impressive growth. Hours: M-F, 8-4:30
Possible local/domestic travel-10%-20%

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to the North American sales team, working closely with R&D and product engineering teams to drive project success.
  • Liaise effectively with customers, offering technical guidance to sub-contractors to ensure clarity on pre-installation and utility requirements for operating printing presses.
  • Consult with clients on machinery layout and optimal placement within production facilities.
  • Oversee all facets of project management, including leading teams of field engineers, orchestrating installation schedules, overseeing project finances, and coordinating machine deliveries with freight forwarders, rigging contractors, and sub-suppliers.
  • Maintain transparent communication by regularly updating customers on project progress.
  • Report to company management on project budgets, timelines, and any technical challenges encountered.
  • Resolve technical issues, manage claims, and address customer complaints during warranty periods, including scheduling warranty service visits and coordinating parts deliveries and software updates.
  • Provide continual support to service engineers.

Qualifications:

  • An understanding of the German language is advantageous but not required.
  • Experience: Candidates should possess either a bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering with 2-3 years of post-collegiate experience, or alternatively, at least 10 years of prior industry experience if no degree is held.
