We hire fun, friendly people and are currently looking to fill a Staff Accountant position.

Job Functions:

· Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.

· Generate and distribute periodic financial reports and analyses to management.

· Perform regular account reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies.

· Assist in maintaining and updating the chart of accounts.

· Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to tax, reporting, and accounting.

· Assist with external audits, providing necessary documentation and responses to auditor inquiries.

· Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the accounting department.

· Assist with the implementation and maintenance of accounting systems and software.

· Assist with inventory management, including periodic physical counts and reconciliation with the general ledger.

· Support cost accounting activities, including tracking production costs and analyzing variances.

· Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

· 3 years of accounting experience is strongly preferred.

· Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment preferred.

· Solid understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.

· Knowledge of large ERP software like Oracle or SAP preferred.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

· Ability to travel 10% to 15% of the year.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

· Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
