Infrastructure Network Engineer (CCNA) – TS/SCI FSP

 

Location: Arundel Mill, Md (In person daily).

Salary: $175K-$255K with full benefits.

Clearance: TS/SCI w/ FSP.

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Cisco CCNA/CCNP Routing and Switching Engineer with experience in design and architecture to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess expert-level knowledge of Cisco routing and switching technologies and experience in designing and implementing complex network solutions.
About the Role:

· Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable network architectures based on Cisco technologies.

· Develop and document network design specifications, including diagrams and technical documentation.

· Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network solutions into larger IT projects.

· Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues in a timely manner.

· Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve network infrastructure.

About you:

· You have a Cisco CCNA or CCNP certification.

· You have 3-10 years of experience in Configuring, and troubleshooting networking equipment

· You have strong knowledge and skills in network design, architecture, and optimizing network solutions.

· You have extensive knowledge of routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and switching technologies (e.g., VLANs, STP, VTP, and VRF’s).

· You have experience with network security technologies (e.g., firewalls, VPNs, ACLs, 802.1x)

· You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· You have excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

· You are a team player, a problem solver, and a lifelong learner.

· Experience or willingness to learn and support other various technologies such as Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet, HPE, Sophos, or Brocade is a plus.
